Trailer plugs

Has anyone refitted the trailer plug on their vehicles to a more waterproof option? I looked at the plug on the colorado today and its full of blue powder. Need to find something a bit more waterproof to replace it with.

Small round 7 pin is the best waterproof plug I've found, a bit of silicon around the rubber seal helps aswell. Still always a good idea to spray them with electronics cleaner every couple of months to keep them A1.
