What areas were you fishing mate? Boat or LB? That will determine what weight would suit

the biggest problem with z mans I've found when i was using the 4 inch swimmers for jacks in the summer. if u put them in with another plastic they do melt together. i lost fair few river 2 sea flex babe vibes cos of it.

Yeah there's a sort of warning on the packet not to store them with other plastics

I've used them and haven't got one on them yet as
i have used them once , but I really like the action and i found as Breambucket said, you can go heavier on the Z mans as they are very buoyant.

mate they are the best, truly a go to lure. Super durable (stood up to plenty of leatheries today) and will last you 30+ fish on the 1 plastic and ive had everything from kings to bream smash them. the biggest ive bream landed on them so far is 39 but they are deffinately a candidate for thoose true monster bream and i know its only a matter of time before they land me one. just fish them slow, use a slightly heavier head than normal (they float) and do not let them in with your squidgys and other plastics. Put one of each in the same packet and youll get an idea why other than that good luck and get ready to have a new go too plastic

I've used everything between 1/40oz and 1/8oz depending on the situation.

I use 1/8oz jig heads in shallow ater for bream sometimes, the fast drop really works sometimes.

I have the glue in my console visor, if it was anywhere else I would be too lazy to use it

None of mine have melted together yet

Cheers

The dirty rivers can fish really well sometimes, dont let it discourage you. I would try really bright or dark plastics on heavier heads, the salty water is at the bottom and the fresh on top.

Cheers
Chris

Yeah I hit the dirty water today and got a couple of bream and flattys, dropped a couple of fish, but always seem to get more fish in the clean water.
