well done
Yeah the bream gear is just about right for some heart in the mouth angling. I've tried corn with the heavier gear but they need a bit of a run up to really get the drag running

Hooking up in the shallows with some deep water near-by is a sure fire way to get them motoring.

I caught 6 redfin perch last weekend at Harevy on ecogear sx40's and smith jade (transparent red one).

Very few trout rises though (3), but amazingly 2 blokes reckoned they dropped a rainbow and a brown during the morning around the corner from me. Hard to believe but may have happened......

Anyone Hit The Fresh recently?

yep i went last week, but i didn't catch anything on a rod and line only on my Camcorder

This would have to be my finest work to date, “Weavers Mid Week Cod” I don’t think you will find any other footage as good as this of a 130cm Murray Cod being caught and released without leaving the water

Hence I’m real sorry to the Dial-up Crew, but I refuse to compress this movie any more than the 29mb I have, may I suggest for all, start the download, put it on your task bar and do something else till it’s loaded, “You Won’t Be Disappointed”

For those that really want to see or save the movie, in CD quality the second link is to a Quick Time version 59mb in this the colours and focus are much clearer

Thanks to Weaver for letting me put this movie up of him catching this majestic fish

Please enjoy

Cheers chuck
