Hard Case reel Storage

Want to turn this hard case into suitable travel storage for my 2500 size Luvias'
Think I've seen some on here do it. Just wondering if there are any hacks or cheats for getting a good finish?

Trace the reels pattern onto the foam with a white fabric pencil or sharpie and use a Hot knife.

Or get more reels and use them as packaging on each other.

I have one of the large Toolpro cases organized as below for reels up to 4000 size and some baitcasters; more efficient use of space with base down, spool up.

I know these little plastic boxes from Daiso are great for storage of individual reels like baitcasters and some smaller size spin reels - air tight and Made in Japan for $2.80 for a pack of two...

Bang on a sticky label and a description and its as good as you'll get.

They've been storing all my reels without boxes and do quite well at it thus far.

Like the silica gel bags. I use clip top and will now add the moizture protection - thanks for the idea.
