Favourite braid scissors poll

Which are your faves.

Feel free to add any I missed and I'll find a photo of them. I would have included more but I was limited to 10 options

The early mail suggests berkley got something right when designing and marketing their scissors.

But the fact that they are viewed as a "semi-disposable" item leaves room for players with a more "Long-Lived" cutters.

From all I've watched and read about "Planned Obsolescence", theres a slight chance that longevity was still a design priority, before Braided lines gained popularity.

So there's a chance a bullet proof pair of cutters from the 80's exists

I can imagine pliers/wire cutters, designed for other industries, that cut braid for decades.

They are different from the Snowpeak split ring pliers that Piscateur reviewed, and are excellent, my faves.

Here are the Owners

Had these for a while. Around $12 delivered and still going strong.
Still cutting through PE.6 with no issues.

Used to love the Shipton scissors, I bought a box of them before I closed my last tackle shop and they are all gone now...

Those Daiwa D Braid scissors look very similar.

Dr Slick

I bought these for fly tying, but double as excellent braid snips, bit pointy for your pocket BFL, and quite exxy I recall.

Probably bling enough for Nags though.

These are the last ones I bought. They are the best scissors I have had. Been through a lot of those cheap Berkley ones and seemed to average about 2 trips before they lost their sharpness
