I believe they have 1-2 trained tech's in the Melbourne office, but it depends on their workload.
TJ - keep trying BLA in Melbourne, but i dare say you may have to just drop it off to them and they'll do one of two things: 1. Fix it in house 2. Send it off up to Brisbane. My MK was sent up in early December for a service/fix under warranty. Turnaround was roughly 4 weeks

FWIW if anyone else is wondering what the process is,
Just spoke to BLA and they advised that I need to drop it off to the warehouse in Melbourne, they then ship it up to QLD. The guy on the phone said that they personally have a three day turnaround to get it repaired, however with shipping etc. it can take 2 weeks. Also, it is a two year warranty, which is good - we get in just in time. Will take it in on Monday/Tuesday and hopefully get it all sorted well before we head off in March. Cheers for your help guys. |
