Just checked out Saturdays weigh in at Nelson. Conditions were very windy with 25knots SW and squally, including hail ! Only half the field had fish and about 3 competitors had a full bag of 5 fish.
The leader was had about 3.49kg I think and Slick was second with 2.99kg.... No Bushy and Starlo this year either. Interesting to see how tomorrows weigh in goes.

Wishin i was there .... Anyway the bream willl be there next time . Do you know where the majority of the fish were caught in the system , or would no one let on ?

Some guys were saying they prefished the estuary yesterday and got some nice bream, but was no good there today, I think they were up river but I dont think they would have gone too far up due to the bad weather. Slick probably fished the boatsheds again.

any idea how nathan alsop went? was there a guy called al in an hornet trophy little stubby bloke?
