Introducing V-T2: Livewell Ventilation

Hi guys,

I am bringing in a new product to the Australian boating market called V-T2. The manufacturer is a company called NewPro Products based in the US.

We all know how important it is to keep the fish alive in tournament situations as well as on some social outings. Keeping the lid of the livewell closed for the whole day (even if it has some oxygen supply) is not the best way to maintain a balanced environment for the fish.

This product significantly improves the internal conditions of the livewell by providing a constant supply of the fresh air (oxygen) and at the same time helps to remove heat and harmful metabolic gases.

In recent testing in the USA over 2 summers, a V-T2 vent was installed in one side of a Stratos bass boat, as the experiment and the other side remained stock standard from the factory (control). Fluke meters were used to measure air space temperature as well as water temperature. On average, the livewell which had a V-T2 vent installed, was consistently cooler by several degrees and the fish remained very lively and healthy.

We have just installed these vents on our boat (please see photos attached) and we’re very keen to see and realise the benefits first hand. Come check them out if you see us on the water or at the ramp!

I’ll be bringing the V-T2 units and brochures to the tournaments we fish and welcome anyone to come and see us. They are simple to install and I can even help you to install these on your boat – will have all the necessary tools (hand drill, a 3” hole saw, and drill bits) on hand.

The units retail for $44.90 plus postage.

Please contact me if you wish to make a purchase or just ask questions about the product.

For more information on V-T2 refer to the link to the NewPro Products website.

Regards,

Alex

Hi Dale, I am sure they will just need to check the thickness of the lid on the yak's well.

One at the time.

I'll get a sample to you after this weekend's Metung comp mate (I know, you'll be busy tomorrow? )

Cheers

To those of you guys who are fishing the Mallacoota and Metung comps next week:

I'll be bringing some more V-T2 units with me and anyone is more than welcomed to come and see them installed on our boat.

I'll be happy to answer to as many questions as I can.

And that's the boat you need to look for:

Cheers,
Alex

I assume that is for a pair of vents and they are tough enough to stand on?

Yes Mark, the price quoted if for a pair including fitting screws.

They are strong enough to stand on, no probs. just don't use them to open live well lids

Cheers,

Thank you for the positive comment.
That was my thought as well when I looked at the issues in improving the live well environment and keeping the fish in better shape than the standard live wells afford.

Cheers,
