I'd love to get a groups of guys to Walpole for the day. Those who wish could bunk up with me for a night.

For those who want something a little more now. See you at Herrison Island Carpark Monday at 4:00pm.

Dave,

You *do* know that this method has been successfully used by women throughout time?! They aren't quite as involved as this, but the "spread the tackle out" type subtefuge has been working for millenia. How many dresses have you never noticed hanging up in the closet before?? How many handbags appear out of no-where and look brand new but "Oh, that old thing??" is the response you get.

Don't feel guilty boys!! This is just retribution!!

Viva la online tackle shop!!!

Hey Dave and Kevin,

These sneaky ways of getting new tackle into the house must be an old guy thing because I'm relating well to the experience.

Personally, I've gone the hi tech path to covering the money trail. My net banking set up allows 2 descriptions to be given to a transfer of money - one (the correct one) that goes into Warrens bank and one (usually "Shell - fuel purchase") that appears on mine.

The only time I've been sprung lately is when I got a new rod and my rod guy gave me a nice red bag to go with it. My wife has no idea how many rods I've got but she was absolutely certain I didnt have a red rod bag!

Change of plans guys. I think it might be worth a cast around Ascot way. Head around to Ascot Waters and we'll see if we can find somewhere to park.

Remember guys, the more the merrier.

Heaps of parking Bear. When you get in follow the sign that says "To River", basically a left turn, then go right to the end.

This takes you to a little marina where all the limestone walls start. Richo will have it suused from there and if you get one with an Oargee JG still in it mouth, it belongs to me!

Dont know if I can make it tonight, pressure of work and so forth. My only clear afternoon so far looks like being Wednesday.

Craig

Fisheries, you're a victim Richo. There is only one fish that lives there, its just that you keep catching him week in week out

No stress Rosco.

Ended up taking a good walk rather than too much of a fish. Some good water at Ascot. Heaps of bait fish. Was quite a site. Only managed to get 2 small ones, should have stayed a bit longer though.

Hi Rosco,

I live in QLD but just arrived back Friday 20/12/02 from WA fished near the casino and caught 7 bream in just over 2 hours useing motoroil colour 1" Big Bite Triple tail Grubs, not that the brand matters me thinks the triple tail was what did the deed as my fishing partner was useing a single tail grub in the same size, hope this helps.

Regards,

THE BOMBER
