affinate 3000

is anyone using the penn affinate 3000. if so what do you reckon - good or not

no, its not.
my old reel was just a bit bigger and my old reel was quite small (meant for bream).

youve probably got one of those tiny reels which a whiting could bust. (joking)

Ive used the affinity if thats what u mean? Actually pretty small for a 3000 size reel.

Ive been using an Applause 4000 as my snapper reel its the next model down from the Affinity and its superb.
Im that impressed with it that Im getting a 4000 Affinity to go on my next snapper rod.
For there price I dont think you could do much better.Speaking of which shop around as Ive found their price varied from shop to shop quite a considerably amount !
Here's a photo to give you an idea of the size fish it handled with ease

The drag handled the runs brilliantly and I managed 4 fish between 81-106 cms that night

yeah i guess i should get rid of this plastic crap or atleast get a handle for it!
