bribie island fishing ?
hello im new to this site,, just want to know wants bribie island like as only fished it once and do not know were to fish..If anyone know were to fish up there i would love u guys forever.

try the flats and the are a few oysters lease around not shore where they are
and mabe even give the canels ago toward the mouth and again the flats thats where the bream and flathead have been holding and a few good tailor

Whip up Google maps and you will spot to great spots.
If you want flathead go at dead low and work bank edges mid passage upwards. If you want bream fish structure at high tide Ningi creek mouth and out towards Moreton Bay southern side of the bridge. As the water temps warm up get out some surface lures it's a great fishery for that. Mick. |

All good info for you mate- Toorbul Point to Ningi creek (mainland side of bridge) gives good protection in a southerly wind. Old oyster leases between the bridge and Toorbul Point worth a flick on a higher tide and you could make your way to the flats out from Ningi creek on the falling tide fishing the gutters for flatties. A great place to explore from a yak. Don't forget your insect replellent too Midgee central down there Cheers Pat.

thanks everyone im from brisbane northside to but i go fishing down the gold coast more then anything and yer im goin to try the canels..
its got to be on bribie island side as im fishing in SQAFCA-1st round of light gear Titles. |
