G'day

There's a post hereabouts on looping Fireline - it was on a Epix though.
There was a lot of good tips on stopping the loops.

I just make sure the Fireline is loaded on tight (damn tight) to start with, belt out a long cast every now and then wind it back on tight again, and try not to have too much slack line when jigging.
I think most loops are caused by the loose line from winding in stop/start style with slack line getting caught by tighter line on the cast.

I'm also certain that line twist has a lot to do with it - is your bail arm roller turning properly?? I know it sounds strange but an effectively functioning bail roller helps heaps with twist.

Catch you on the water (looking at ladies wearing only a shirt )

I have one, Newbass, but haven't had any unusual problems with it. At first I was trying to cast the sh*t out of it, so I had my fair share of loops, but now it's nice and smooth. I've had prolly 3 or 4 small loops in 4 outings. Easily sorted.

Sorry I can't help with your problems. I love the reel though....very nice. Smooth as silk.

Nice reel for the price. Was gonna grab one but after that anti-recommendation I might step up to a Capricorn w/ worm gear.
