new rod from Ian Miller, looks & feels great in the hand. He had them on a pre-order special.

Will be fun on the bream, eps and flatties

@Ratbags. Look forward to some feedback on the rod. I was interested in hearing about the twitchfreak rod . Hopefully some reviews pop up now there is more out there

Sorry for the delayed follow up, haven’t been able to get out due to work & weather issues.

I set the rod up with 3 different reels & line to see what the ideal would be for distance & accuracy.

Daiwa exist 2500 pre mag seal unitika braid
Daiwa Presso 2025 3lb Gosen braid
Daiwa ignis 2505 FC Rock fluorocarbon 4lb

Exist & Ignis cast similar distance, the Gosen went a lot further, FG knot joins on braid/fluro leader, no issue going through the guides. Used a cranka crank 3.4g, hit the spot perfectly on each cast, rod loads in the top ½ evenly.

Hopefully out this weekend to test on the fish & give the tree a rest
