[QUOTE=gtxrally;666218]Well if you can add a mini boat here is mine
Nice set up there!!! When you have your live well set up at the back, is there anymore space for extra tacklebox / tacklebag/H-Crate at the back of your kayak or you have keep it in the front storage area? Cheers |

I have made a box that goes into the middle hatch which hold all 5 x small versus cases and all my scissors and leaders. Then i have adapted the a bracket that mount to the front of the live well that holds 2 x plano cases too so more than enough storage.
Ill post some pics over the next couple of days. DB |

This is my Tarpon 3.7. It's an excellent little bream boat. It's made with kevlar and fibreglass and the bare hull just weighs 40kg. It's only rated to carry two people. The little 5 hp Tohatsu pushes it along at about 10 knots on the plane. The photos were taken at Marlo recently.

That's a great looking little boat mate and i'am sure its ideal for chasing bream etc in the estuaries, sure beats paddling.

I had a similar problem with my 115 optimax on my skeeter, Turned out to be the 2 tracker valves on the fuel rail, the diaphragms had pin holes in them. Also the seal at the top op the high pressure pump wasn't sealing. Hope this helps and they can sort out yours soon without too much hurt to the wallet. Cheers Adam |

Thanks fellas. In the past I've done a lot of kayaking and it has been heaps of fun, however I found that it's hard to cover much distance in a yak, otherwise you spend more time paddling and less time fishing. However with the Tarpon 3.7 I can now cover large areas and fish in total comfort. I can stand up and walk around in it. I can fly fish from it. All this in a package that weighs about the same as your average larger kayak. It's dirt cheap to run as well. One litre of fuel lasts for two hours of running at WOT.
I've owned a lot of boats over the years, both big and small, but none have given me the pleasure that this one does. |
