$200 Reel for Nitro powerbream.

Hey guys,

Been contemplating this a fair bit and decided I don't really need to go all out so I'm thinking no higher then $230 .
Considering Daiwa has alot in that range, I'm thinking on buying one of the followings;

- Daiwa Infeet.
- Daiwa E-Gee.
- Daiwa Tierra.
- Daiwa Presso Imprimi.
- Daiwa Kix Freams.

Not real keen on the stradic atm and needs to be in the 2004-2506 mark considering it will be used souly for bream and will need to balance with the Nitro also. These are my consideration. Main choice at the time being is the Infeet and Tierra's due to there record. Also The Freams is another main consideration for the reel four option but in the end. It really comes down to performance.
Any info on these would be great, Thanks.

I have not used a Powerbream but I assume they are a light rod. The E-gee would be a little heavy for it I think. They are good reels for the price but suit a heavier egi rod.

Mate, My luvi have been sitting on my heartland for a while now. And No, I don't have any other reels. Most of the time I ask about reels, Im actually gathering info on them very rarely I tend to buy the reel I ask about. Besides now.

Also hazell, the Nitro is very tip heavy so that is why Im suggesting a heavier reel. So it will balance more.
thanks for the fast replies, Keep them coming.

I see, but I would rather get rid of the very tip heavy rod than buying another heavy reel to suit it.

I doubt the infeet could balance a very tip heavy rod with its weight only 230g (not really heavy, same as sol, certate, etc....)

You have a sephia bb before and I think it would suit better, being 260g in my memory, but seems you hv sold it.

If you want reel with good gearing but a bit heavier, look for those with double handle. Use the double handle to add some weight, better than a cheaper and heavier body.

Well, I still hv the white stradic 2500FH sitting here NIB, being 270g should balance every poor rod nice....if you are interested.
