WA: Free "Introduction to Fly Fishing" day, 21/05/2017

This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in the idea of fly fishing.
To all WA fly fishers, the Saltwater FlyRodders of WA is holding an "Introduction to Fly Fishing" day this coming Sunday. It's open to all who are interested in fly fishing, whether they are beginners or advanced, fresh or saltwater focused.
The location is the Nedlands Rugby Club grounds, starting at 10.00am. We'll have free sausages!
For the beginners, we'll run through all the essentials of fly fishing, including flies, line weights and rods, and how to fish with them. Of course, casting lessons are part of that and I'll be offering free instruction on the day. We also have many other very competent casters coming along, all of whom are very capable of offering advice on casting.
For more advanced fishermen, club members bring all sorts of rods and lines along. It'll be a great chance to try out various rods on the market in a friendly and informative environment. And it goes without saying that even experienced casters can improve their casting: free instruction for advanced casters is also available on the day.
