Winkipop?
The Big Popper?
Lorena Poppit? (won't even have to change the shape )

(now the serious bit)

Toshiyuki Nishida is the guy who played Pigsy in the 1978 TV series "Monkey". Between 1988 and 2009 he's played the main character (Densuke Hamazaki) in a series of 20 movies (comedy) about a man who is obsessed with fishing. The series is called "Tsuribaka" ( 釣りバカ ), the literal translation of which is "Fishing crazy" or "Fishing enthusiast".

Hamazaki popper...sounds alright to me.

The literal translation of Hamazaki is "beach/seashore".
Also a good fit with Saemi ("the only thing needed").

Interesting info Rodman, I was a bit of a Monkey fan back in the day myself. I like the Saemi translation too.

Cheers, Dror

The poppers look awesome, the action on them is great. They walk really easily and pop nicely.

Here are a couple of my pics. Will be giving them another run tomorrow for some surface working trout

Err..."oops"...maybe my previous post doesn't count then.

Craig, I think I can just see the green one smoking a cigarette in the second pic.
