I wonder if he had a saltiga if they would have replaced that, I recon they should have given him a new reel

A few years ago I brought a new Daiwa rod an reel for bream, whiting an the likes, hadnt even used it yet so I went for a fish down to the Dawsville Cut in Mandurah, rigged up the rod leant it up againts the rock wall behind me,picked up my nitro rod that was rigged up with a metal slice, cause a few herring were boiling on the surface, bomb out a cast and the slice hooked the new rod up! the whole rod goes over my shoulder into the water
I was spewin,I franticly looked for the rod but couldnt see it cause the water was a bit dirty! I was gutted.Hadnt even used the damm thing yet

Come back a week later in the same spot, this time the water is clear and as Im fishing, I notice something shimering in the water! I look closely and I realise its a fishing reel and rod Rigg up my rod with the biggest hook I could find and after a few attemps,I finally hook it and to my amazement its my new Daiwa rod an reel How's the luck?! Gave the reel a service and it was good as gold!

Saltiga Bubble Maker...

Therer's a $60 cast.

Was fishing land based over reefy / rocky flats up north when I noticed some BIG GT's free swimming up in the shallows so bombed a cast at 'em.

Hooked up a biggun and he swam straight out over the drop off and down.

A GT in shallow water like that doesn't care how tight your drag is....

I also fish barbless hooks, he shook it free and I had to watch my lure float away into the distance...
