gonna need a bit more ply in the transom

This has been a great thread to follow IMD, you are even more fastidious than Big Fish Larry

Love the attention to detail and looking froward to the champagne on the bow moment.

The transom will be about 50mm by the time i'm finished.

I have been known as a bit of a perfectionist so its going to take time... you can't rush perfection

Theres nothing quite like the thrill of using the wrong tools, while rushing to finish a job with no deadline

There’s a lot to be learnt from the master . you’ll find some great perfection at its best & a bit of innovation too, namely........

Built extra supports under the boat on saturday... halfway along the keel and up under the bow... solid as now.

Also started cleaning up excess glue from the boxes and prepping for fillets & glassing... wish i was a bit more cautious gluing inside the hull at the start... oh well, lesson learned for the next boat

Looking good Ice.
I owned a fine joinery business and know exactly what you mean about excess glue, but its better to be sure and use too much than not enough. Just a necessary evil in the game.
