Nice work mate,

Make sure you post your photos with those bent minnows in the monthly fish-tec photo comp, could win yourself $150 worth of goodies.

Just found the fish-tec page, cheers!...and will do
...unfortunately we couldn't use any of the footage of our fish on the bent minnow, pretty much all the good fish we got on em, it was raining pretty hard at the time!

Some really nice sized bream there! Those size bream in the bay just love to hit massive surface lures in summer..... loved the music to those showering baitfish!

The river has a diverse mix of species, can be hit and miss but glad you boys had some fun.

Cheers

Mick.

Yeah port authority, flexing there muscle for no good reason, I've worked in the maritime industry all my life, it's all about 911 and port security and coming into line with US rules regulations. Used to run to weipa for bauxite at lorum point wharf and because we were marine crew no problems handline fishing from the wharf as long as we had our PPE on! Everyone else or boaties were told to Pi$$ off!

...whatever its normally like inside brissy river with the port authority, they obviously weren't around that day, was boats fishing close in along the whole wharf...we did get see couple boats anchored up off the rockwalls that got told to move out 200m, but they didnt say anything to us cruising in close with the leccy
...pretty sure the melbourne port authority have never had a day off harrassing breamers tho
