Favourite HB lure colour of all time

Hey guys,

I’ve noticed that site sponsors and mods are doing SFA to keep this forum ticking a long (maybe they’ve given up?????), so I thought i’d Keep trying to maintain a weak, life-sustaining pulse so the site actually shows some signs of activity.

I wanna know, what’s everyones favourite HB lure colour of all time?

I don’t specifically mean what gets you the most fish and what works best in whatever water you fish. I wanna know what colour you reall really like, even if it’s only caught a plastic bag.

Mines brown dog

Fluro pink micro mullets have been a long standing lure of choice for many, albeit for their questionable casting abilities...

Now days fluro pink seems to becoming a lost colour...

P.s. where's Lawrence?

My favourite fish-catching colours are jackall's brown suji shrimp (pretty standard):

And duo realis's komochi:

But the megabass white python looks extra nice in the tacklebox:

I don't know if I could honestly single out one colour, but here are a few that really tickle my fancy.

Can’t beat a gold colour lure, though I do like the look of that white python.

Favourite HB lure colour of all time

Gday Everyone

Sounds weird but my Go to is this black Cranka Shad (i think its a shad) Its caught everything from a 91 CM flathead and (heaps of smaller ones 50 to 70 etc) Its also caught lots of Bream , I have tried "other Black" variations but this one just seems to do the trick , as you can see it has hardly any paint left on it and has been absolutely mauled , i have replaced the trebles heaps , but still works like a champion !!

Brown Sushi does it for me on bream, ep's and mulloway.

Combine that with a squirrel 60 ( black eye) and a few turns of fine lead wire) will tempt most days and conditions from bright sun in shallow water to 1800 and a dull windy day in winer when they are deep and schooling
Blade may get more but there is nothing quite like a bream gliding over the lip of my landing net with a brown sushi squirrel cigar hanging out of its mouth.

For that alone its my favourite.....just tried to figure how many different bream lures I have in that colour and got to 6 without trying.

I am a big fan of the BBQ Prawn colour just on of those colours I tie on and it always sends to get the fish in all water conditions.
