Greetings from Perth Hills
Hi All.......since retirement late last year have been trying my hand at bream (shore) fishing using lures in the upper Swan River - around Guildford (closest place to Perth Hills for me).
Actually caught one on a hard body (to my great surprise) and by coincidence read about an open day being run by WA Bream Classics and with Hobie yak demos by Getaway few weeks ago - I attended and was 'sold' on breaming and yakking. Thanks Ian to Sewell and the fellow presenters for a great day. 2 weeks later I bought a Hobie 12 PA - which I have used a couple of times and am itching to use more once rain stops here..and the Swan R. slows down from it's current wild/white water state! Doubt there will be any bream around for a while however - all flushed downstream. Have already picked up some informative information from the various posts in this forum - look forward to learning much more. Cheers |
