Anyone else had vibration issues with there’s.
I brought it Friday morning at 8 and had it on the water by lunch and apart from it 2/3 to wide open I is awesome. I’ve indexed the prop 180degrees but I doubt this will matter as it looks like the prop is molded wrong. I’ll grab a spare WS prop I have in the shed and test it Saturday as well. |

I have had mine for 2 years, heavy use,It can get confused under bridges, but no real issue.Spot lock is unreal . I don't use an anchor at all. Being able to pre set destinations is great too. I have 3 spots I fish , Pylons , on an expressway bridge. I just hit 1 2 or 3 depending where I want to move to. If having problems I thought any Mercury dealer could look at them? Howard.

The dealer I brought it off fobbed it off saying we’ve never seen or heard of the issue are “you” sure “you” mounted it correctly.
They said they should vibrate a little bit. I’ve indexed the prop 180 and will get out tomorrow for a test. The spot lock is amazing the other night we were in .9- 1m swells and even with the neap tides this spot has raging current and it held us just wide and up from a finger off a main jetty so I couldn’t be happier |

Sorted. Flipping the prop fixed the issue about 85% but putting the WS prop on it made it perfect.

No idea what model it’s off as it was given to me as a spare ages ago when a mate went from WS to MK. I am just stoked that it works.
Everything except the motor and trailer frame has had to be done twice. New boat had to be made under warranty WS changed out under warranty First Hummin Bird sounder changes under warranty Wheel bearings hubs and axle changed under warranty I thought the curse was going to continue |

how in the hell do you actually flip a prop?
i thought they were only meant to go in One way. also, the anode for the Xi5 doesn't balance on the shaft 100% theres a little bit of play in it, which will make it unbalance a bit, but ive never had any issues with mine though. what they should have done was make the hole on the anode a smidge smaller so it didnt move around on the shaft, that would have made it a more balanced fit |

Indexing is the correct term. So if the prop looks like this R-L turn it 180 deg L-R if that makes sense
