The hunt begins

Hey guys
Some of you might have seen my post a few weeks ago about catching my first EP in my local area. Ever since, nearly every lunchtime i have been walking around the banks trying to tempt another, or even see if there is anything else there.

however, every trip since has produced donuts, aside from a very small tommy rough/ salmon caught by the kid who works for us.
I have spotted a few salmon/yakkas/tailor/big mullet smashing the small bait fish and even had one jump over my line the cheeky bugger.

So
i was down for my lunchtime fish yesterday and there was a baito fishing on the opposite side to where i was. He was fishing up against structure. I look up at one stage and it looked like he was snagged... tunrs out he is fighting a fish...
im watching the whole fight, bout 30-40 seconds when he lifts it up on the bank.
silver...looks like a trevally...but its fatter than that...maybe a perch... so i call out to him. ...... Its a bream mate!

Unfortunatley for me i went donuts again, but im now set on catching one of these bream i had heard were in the system years ago. I have been fishing on and off for 17 years there and never seen one until yesterday.

Im hooked...

High tide would be a good time to find those EP on the surface aswell

s/e of melbourne on WP.

Someone suggested surface, but cant get to areas to fish surface :/

It was really tidal today, couldnt keep a plastic near the bottom, the water seems to swirl in this area badly when the tide is running.
Tried a drop bear stiffy vibe but no luck again today.

I thought i would have ran into other species ie flatties, salmon, trevally ect but keep getting donuts.

Problem is im fishing a small area due to not too many options for lb fishing (fishing during lunch)
However the fish are there *bangs head against wall*
