Daiwa Certate 4000 Hyper Custom Bearings

After some info please. Am looking to upgrade the above reels bearing to ceramics. Are the sizes the same as the standard Certate 4000 from the same era, circa 2010. I am lead to believe that the only difference between the 2 are gears which are upgraded in the hyper certate to the same ones in saltiga’s. Thanks in advance, Paul

Bearing sizes

Scroll down past the schematic and click on the 'R' code in the reference column to see the bearing specs for each part.

Parts look the same as the standard 4000, other than the extra spool support bearing instead of the usual bush.

No problem, that is a nice reel and bullet proof if well maintained, I still have several 1500s and a 2500 of the original blue vintage, still tight & smooth.
