I like it. There’s a market for that I reckon. Bit of paint, few sparkles, $10 ea at a weekend market stall. Might fund your fishing expenses. Or mine

So I cut up a block of wood - job done
Nice, you just need Cameron Bancroft to help you remove the arris

I dont follow any sports, so working that out was a long journey but worth it in the end. (I was originally searching for wood workers called Cameron Bancroft)

But when it comes to prototypes - too much tampering before getting final approval has bitten me in the arse before - this unit still needs to prove its stability on open water before getting its hair and nails done

p.s. The majority of the stuff I make for this bloke gets thrown out - even if it is used and has proven itself - thats no guarantee it will be there next time.

Too much sun = hot water and algae

Plywood, acrylic paint, steel rod = Lily Pad sun shade

Just salting up another batch of carp - it was filleted at the creek and spent a couple of hours in a bag - then it was skinned and cubed so it already lost a bit of moisture before it goes in the bag with salt -

but I wanted to check how much water the salt draws out.

This was a small carp - the chunks from the fillets weighed around 1.25kg - and this is how much water has come out after an hour

Hehe - yep spot on Mark -

The jokers have offered to send me a new one instead of a refund -
I have accepted through curiosity -
I have close to zero confidence the replacement will work but I'll get my refund back in the end.

The only glimmer of hope is that the new one will have a "Yellow Thingy" and all will be good

What do you do when the 3 for $5, pre-rigged Jarvis Walker lures you got came with the tail pointing up - causing a pronounced, bum down, head up swimming style, on a constant retrieve......
