Hey Guys going on a cruise through the south pacific..

Wondering if anyone knows if its with it packing a travel rod to throw some stick baits from the shore off one of the islands we stop at? Noumea, isle of pines, lifou and mare...

If you encounter some flats chances are bonefish might be present. Arm yourself with some cranka crabs is spinning is your only option. Otherwise chuck a fly rod.

I you decide to bring the rod, check the local rules re: fishing license.

I saw plenty of GTs at Isle of Pines last time i snorkeled there. Should be able to get them shore based.
