They're the cancer of the waterways...

The last vestage of relaxation has been taken over by a bunch of cashed up kiddies - then there's the DohDohDohDohDohDoh chariots, they're a special breed all on their own.

This particular part of the vid is just up the beach from my old ladies at Paradise Point. A old bloke on a jet ski was killed at that bridge - when he hit it on a jet ski a few years earlier.

When they redid the ERPS in the pylons and reskinned them they managed to take away the years of battle scars from boat strikes and the rest of the unfortunate people to hit them.

Enough said.

Yeah it was interesting to hear the Mum talk as if she was helpless in the face of a request to get an overpowered motor for her son.

All the other kids have got them, so I got him one. Seemed to be the best way to handle it

We get them in with their parents - most parents are happy to bang them in a $5k boat package, fill the tank up and not see them till late afternoon...

Most of them don't wear an appropriate PFD, most boats are super unstable hence the ability to do what they do and really the parents just don't care as they are cashed up and themselves SFB...

Manufacturers also are to blame as they make these boats to fill the market gap, back in the day boats would crack up very quickly, now they're made super thick, extra ribbing and double strength in all ways to take the tortures.

It should be banned outright and with the advent of tinny racing through tight circuits - you can't as a kayaker go up small creeks as you could come face to face with a rat pack blow hard replicating the "sport" on a local waterway...

The risks are huge as a kayaker now... Big boats, pleasure boats, weekend warriors, jet ski DohDohDohDohDohDohs and tinny rats - as a kayaker your kead is like a one eyed dog in a meat factory...

Yeah when it comes to tinny rats and assorted hoons - the amount of people getting pissed off versus the amount of people having fun, is too damn high
