R2S 45

Hi Daniel,

I saw a sample in the BM shop, but wasn't aware they are available, pray tell where you got yours?

Do they have decent trebles or the thin salmon doubles I saw on the sample?

Havent got a camera, or the lure on me at the moment (not at home) but the are basically a 45mm version of the shad 60. Loooks great Cant rember what trebles, from memory they were about size 12, didnt look to shaby. I picked mine up from Anglers Paridise, they got plenty ther (or did have on thurs, they might all be gone buy now ).

I have always been a fan of R2S lures. Its always my go to HB. I got a few of the 45's and I must say I had high hopes for them.
I tried it on Sunday on the swan in a few spots and didnt even get a blowie hit. Strike Pro's Laser Pro's and R2S60s all scored BReam.
One thing I have noticed on the 45's is they sink slowly. Maybe playing with the hardware will get it suspending or even floating and it might start catching fish .

If only it floated i would have gone out to get it.

Any chance of a pic? Or a website where we can see this new beast.

My experience with the 60 mm Static Shad was that it dove VERY deep, but had a very subtle action (super tight shimmy, but not a hard wiggle).

If the diving vane on the 45 is the same type, and the body shape similar, I wouldn't expect all that much difference, except in diving depth.

Still wanna check them out though...
