I'm sure plenty will disagree, as i dont see many around on other boats / anglers, but have been very happy with the "ultra light I bought around a year ago & since playing with a few other sticks decided that this was the one for me, but opted for the light this time on account of larger stripper & first guides more suited to the 2500 daiwas I'm now using.

The Ultra is rated at 2kg the light 2-4kg but blanks look identical to me, just guide sizes differ

Wilson site is "under construction" so will have to settle for this one

I've never really thought too much about the guide sizes when looking at rods... You raise a good point here. I might look at one of these to match my 2500 egee reel when I use it on a spare bream outfit. Cheers.
