G,day all been making some lures lately n I showed a bloke how to do it n now he,s undercutting me, not real happy.

Without wanting to make it sound like a smart assed comment "welcome to the Australian lure game".

You know it's gone bad when it comes down to getting shot like John Knoll from Knolls Lures, when another lure guy cracked the sads over being told no.

Not just Australia, this is how the world lure market works these days. No lure is safe as it is very easy to get any lure copied and put in to production, in a very short space of time.

The days are long gone where lure designs were respected, but I guess it is a win for the consumer, as there are a lot more choices on the shelves these days.

Yeah it may be good for the consumer...but to remain competitive compromises will be made I'd rather pay a little extra for a decent product than have something that doesn't cut the mustard
