Platinum 11 Southern Cross Textiles
Hi all
Wanting to purchase some platinum 11 marine carpet for my tinnie, wondering if anyone can give me feedback on the quality of it! Looks and feels very nice. Is it a pain to clean or very easy? http://www.sctextiles.com.au/products/plat_products.htm That's a link of the stuff. Thanks in advance. |

Cut loop is good, so that hooks do not get stuck in it all of the time, I do not see anything about being UV stable or any other UV rating, which is OK if the boat lives under cover, if not you might want to look into the UV tolerance.

Hi Ian
I'm pretty sure there all UV stable The technology behind Performx has just raised the standard. All three Performx products, Platinum 11, Excel and Infinity are manufactured with 3,000-hour ultraviolet (UV) stabilized inherently stain and water-resistant polypropylene, is on the cutting edge of marine carpet production. That's from there website. The platinum is hook less as well and will only buy that type far less headaches down the track. Thanks for the help anyways man. I'll have a look at the cut loop as well. |
