What do you wish you hadn't sold?

A few years back I sold a Loomis travel rod. I think I bought it secondhand as a backup to a 8200 drop shot but it was so nice to use that it quickly became my favorite bream rod for wandering along river banks and casting sx40s. For some reason, after a year or two I managed to convince myself that I should try something different so I sold it to a BM member. I actually saw a photo on BM showing the rod in action so it's obviously in good hands. I've had some great rods since and pretty much all would be regarded as far more suitable for shorebased fishing, but I often think back to how nice that little rod was and wish I still had it. I could buy a replacement of course, but I don't think it would be quite the same as that rod I picked up secondhand. I wondered if others out there have had similar regrets about selling off a bit of kit.

Interesting thread, I have plenty or regretful sales over the years for different reasons.

My First Canoe I owned ,My old man bought it for my 15 th birthday and I used it everywhere I could , really helped me devolop my lure fishing , I sold it when I moved from NSW to QLD when I turned 18 ,needed the cash but regret selling it all the time even though I have a replacement for it now .
The new one just doesn't seem to have the same Mojo.

Calcutta 100 I had around the same time.I used it as an all rounder chased Bass with it ,Live baited for big Flathead even used it to Jig up Trag offshore .
Same deal needed the cash when I moved and for some reason have never got another 1 .

Sold so many lures over the years aswell that I wish I hadn't .

My Deepthroat, Lycoan Evolutuion and Racing Condition were really hard to sell. Haven't found a rod that I like as much as that Lycoan evo yet.
