Where do you hear about new released gear?

Hi all just trying to find out what everyone uses to hear about new fishing gear leaks eg the first photo of the stella. I assume most of the first of news is on facebook...? If so can someone tell me some good sites or pages to follow, thanks

Ps cannot wait for the new Daiwa luvias!!!!

Make friends with the local tackle shop as a lot of the new release info comes from the company reps that travel around trying to pre-sell that gear, and it can usually land you some sweet discounts too, win-win!

Thanks for the relpy CJ BRIBIE but in my situation the nearest tackle shop is over 1 hour away and im more of a fan of the japan market of reels

Japanese tackle stores and their staff

They are often very friendly and willing to enlighten you.
I think it’s their nature than makes them that way, very polite also

I mostly ignore local store staff and tv personalities etc

A lot better flow of wider ranging information from the Asian markets, however the yanks are getting a lot better at expanding their ranges that are imported

nope lol. I usually just find pics of new gear completely at random while scrolling through the gram. For instance, I found photos of the new Stella just because someone from Japan had posted them up well before they were anywhere else.
