Have a google for a "Bowline with a bite", will never work loose and can be easily undone. Hitches to lock a Bowline can come loose if it's constantly being handled or bumped. Bowlines are notorious for coming undone; it's illegal for me to use one to secure a rope to my harness unless it has a bite. Too many tree guys have fallen due to a bowline undoing itself.
