That changes things if you're wanting to chase kings, jews and snapper.

I'd go for a steez thumberstorm or power junkie. About $400-450. Couple that with exist 3012 $800-850.

Vanquish doesnt have enough line capacity for what you are fishing for.

From what i see the LE vanquish has been sold out for ages. I'm searching for one myself, been checking japan angler and other sites for weeks no stock anywhere.

Made my mind up going to be using this setup specifically for kings, jews and snappers. Looking for a 3000 size reel with decent drag about 7 to 10kg.

I wonder when the new stellaz will be released sizes 1000 to 4000!!!

If it's kings jew and snapper you're after then my pick would be either a catalina 3500 and a saltiga all rounder, or if you're game/chasing smaller kings a megabass jade python (if you can find one) and a stella SW 4000.

I'll throw my 2 cents and go with the tiaryo rods.they are releasing there new models with the latest nano tech in there.as good as any rod on the market with change in the pocket.as for the reel either diawa or shimano around the $300 mark and your done.so if you shop smart you will pick up two fantastic combos but the most important thing is get out fishing.my mate has super expensive gear and he hardly uses it.go out get good gear and enjoy.

How about an NRX 843S MR inshore with a Stellla 8000 SW? That combo would easily account for the species you are targeting and would come in around budget and be pretty much unique in Aus.

I have a nrx 802 and find it to stiff! I see the US G Loomis site has the new series NRX inshore. Id love to have a feel of them. Seems like theres no GLX anymore its all NRX even NRX Dropshot.

When spending serious dollars on gear its not really about the fish anymore, its about the premium experience and appreciation for luxury. Eg why wear a Hugo Boss suit when you can look just as good in a Tarocash suit. Because luxury is better if you can afford it. Bash has a big budget so lets help him spend it

Ive got a few tarocash items looks great but don't feel as smchik as when I've got on hugo. Same as when I use my sol 3000 vs the Morrie and my terez vs a steez rod. Bash got cash so lets guide him to up the addiction path
