We managed a half dozen reddies in the first hour but they went quiet after that, but that wasn't what we were after.. We wanted Cod and threw everything in our arsenal trying..

There was some great habitat, and when a BIG cod followed my lure all the way to the boat before a taking long look and a subsequent rejection I nearly couldn't contain my excitment.

But it wasn't to be and we were reduced to trawling through the midday sun and enjoying a few cans in the 'countryfied' surrounds.

I will definately be back soon to turn the table on those big green beasts.
