Anyone can enter the comps fellas, best to do it early if your a non-boater, as the amount of boaters lets you know the amount of non-boaters allowed to enter. Or fail safe way fins a mate with a boat and enter together as a team and you`ll be assured of entry then. Check the WA Bream site that`ll be up and running real soon.

Cheers

This seems to be the web page for the comps, guys. You need
to join Australian Bassers first I think, but it's a nominal $20 joining fee.

Regards
Kevin

I think it is stupid that you have to be over 16 to compete.

Gday,
I'd say he'd be a little upset because he isn't 16 and cannot fish the bream comps. I had to put up with the same feeling last year but this year I'll be at the QLD bream comps. However I understand their reasons for the rules, and agree with them.

Cheers

Mike,
Just check the boating requirements in the tournament rules before you do. There are a few new requirements as far as engine size and so on goes. It's also a good idea to get in touch with Ira if there is anything you're not sure about.

the age issue concerns the insurance side ,under 16 they class you s ajunior and wont cover it but 16 and over you are classed as a adult and satisfy the insurance needs.[join ABT to be in the events it covers the comp's basic insurance]
