Just float it.

There goes another kayak friendly coffee and donut shop.

If you have import/export dollars like the shipping cargo docks - you can pay for divers to secure big sacks around every pylon then they pour concrete down them.
The wear and tear on these pylons is most evident in the tidal zone - but some of those 150 year old pylons, were being held together by toothpick thin bits of wood 15 years ago. I always wondered how they kept that pier open all these years. How do you float it? |

Forget the coffee and donuts - that pier held the rarest jewel in the Docklands - A pristine, immaculately maintained, hidden sanctuary - Hidden from the heathens, with no syringe drop box required

Yeah after they closed "the Door" another one opened - It was to the best secret public toilet the docks had to offer

Yeah it would be a bit spooky under there now - any chunks missing from the roof?

I was under there yesterday to see what all the fuss was about. I'm no engineer, but it didn't look any different to me, nothing recently broken or damaged. The tinny living under there hasn't moved and there's still no fish.

Another interesting thing I noticed whilst under there; a lot of the pylons have still got bark on them, not bad for 100 year-old dead tree.

Unfortunately the company I work for own all of the sheds and businesses on central pier so a massive income stream has shut down with no warning.
The tinny underneath is ours for maintenance works and for running new electrical circuits every time we change something.

About 3 months ago, Was having a gander under there in my yak whilst waiting for Greggo to grab coffees. Had just pulled next to the floating pontoon to grab said coffee from greggo when a tinny approached and had a go at me for being under there (was extrelemy rude). And stated that I was not allowed under there! I said that I didn't not know this rule and that I've been fishing there for years. As I was saying this the other one pipes up with just call the cops. Was one of the more bazaar encounters, as tho i has committed the most inexplicable crime. I just turned my back after that!
