Great rod for that sort of money. I notice the big place at Tweed Heads also has them at the same price.
I have been using the "supercaster" on Snapper for a while now and find it a versatile rod capable of both baits and plastics.

Yeah I just ordered my second scratchy
When every minute counts - I carry 2 rods while land based - (a different lure tied to each) - I was using my old nitro 2-4kg next to my scratchy 1.5-3kg this evening and I couldnt take it any more. Its not a completely fair comparison but the Scratchy casts 1/16ths better, can easily handle 1/8ths and is a much crisper stick. But I should add - I dont know alot about rods and havent tried that many - but the scratchy feels better in my hand and more sensitive than the other junk I've had |

Have to go to Coffs on the weekend and the weather here is foul so a trip to the big store is definitely on the cards. Wife uses a Loomis rod and we share a Dobyns outfit but the Daiwa generation Black series is as good as them both. May get another while there so we don't have to share.

Yeah I clicked the "Free Postage" option then was a little worried about what that would mean.
Turns out there was no worries - arrived in a PVC tube within the week |

Picked up another over the weekend. Lucky this shop is 1 1/2 hours drive away, i spent more on lures than i did on the rod. I am always amazed at the choice.
