Only played with them in a shop. Unbelievably smooth and light. Hard to believe you actually are turning the handle. Waiting for a 1000 size to arrive for my trout setup.

Yes only held the 1000 size so far. Nice reel, felt smooth and solid. Seems everyone in Qld is sold out of the 2500 but no one is talking about them.

I honestly wasnt that impressed with it.
yeah its light and its smooth to wind, but after hearing what other have said about it i was expecting a lot more.
granted it was new so would need some bedding in etc, but the reel handle wouldn't even wind down on its own if let go from just off TDC. for an expensive reel i thought that wasnt good enough

The handle is 50% lighter and the main gear is larger. Regardless, i simply dont get why this bogus measure of a reel would even be a consideration. The handle doesnt turn itself?????? Maybe thats what the thing attached to the end of its supposed to do........

Or maybe Tanacom is more your speed
