Worm digging

Is it legal to do worm digging near the jetty in Claremont.

I think its okay, but I doubt you'l find anything there...

Best just to use lures, go soft plastics if your after flathead, if the blowies are a hassle switch to some hardbodies or a prawnstar.

Im pretty sure its legal to dig right round the river now but as

I have a pamphlet from the Swan River Trust that says

"digging for bait is not permitted within the Swan Estuary Marine Park or the Canning River Regional Park. Bait worm digging is permitted everywhere else along the river that is at least 5 metres from any vegetation."

It also mentions penalties of up to $5000 for causing damage to shorelines or vegetation.
