battery at costco
Hi...
Never has an electrical motor. Now I have one and I need a battery. Costco has a Deep Cycle marine battery rated 75Ah for 38$. I'm thinking to buy 2 and always connect them in parallel to the motor or to the charger. That would give me 150Ah for 76$. At other stores I could find 105Ah for 152$. Do you think it is a good deal? Are there any problems that I should be aware with connecting them in paralel? Thanks. |

Connecting them in parallel shouldn't be a problem for the electric.
Check the brand and try to find more about it by googling. Also, ask about the warranty. If it's 2 years, can't go wrong for the price (even with the one year warranty it's a good deal). The price quoted is very good, but in general, you get what you paid for Good luck, |

Agree with Alex - you get what you pay for. At $38 it can't have the same quality components as a more expensive battery. Batteries in the $400 range (ie. Optima Yellow Tops) are $400 because they're built out of the best quality components & they work exactly the way their advertised & last for years.
I would expect a $38 battery to last about 38 days! Seriously spend some decent coin ona decent battery - you'll be better off in the long run. How are you going to charge it (or them?) Electrical, Costco & Quality arn't three words that go together well in most departments. |

some of the cheap shops have good well known brand batteries but just wack their own label on them but for that price Im betting you wont be getting one there & you are going to need a good charger as well not something that wont cut out when the battery is full & cook it,as they say BOAT, Bring On Another Thousand
