Yamaha 30HP 4 Stroke HELP!!!

Hi all,
Recently purchased a Yamaha 4 stroke and and want to make sure what the year model on the engine is but don't no how to find the model!!! Can someone please help me!!!

On the transom bracket it says this:
F30AMHD
69H
L
500296
S

Does anyone no these codes and figure out for me??? Thanks all.

G'day Bash,

Have a look at this link http://www.boats.net/parts/search/Ya...ard/parts.html

I would say according to this it would be a 2005 model by way of the last letter D in the first group of letters. The next letters are relating to model prefix and shaft length I believe.

Hi Ian,
Thanks for the reply really appreciate it mate. I bought this boat and wasn't sure if the year model of the engine I was told its a 2001 but if its a 05" I've hit the jackpot hahaha. Thanks for the reply mate really appreciate it.
