Had a few things that needed sorting out this week - first the solar panels, for the pumps, needed to be raised to catch the ever decreasing available light

And the last one has been bugging me for a while - For too long I have been restricted by the tyranny of a corded lamp. I need some light in my bedroom for short bursts and the corded lamp wasnt doing it for me
- its too bright - the bulb shines in my eyes when I only want enough light to illuminate my key board in a dark bedroom - and I want to be able to move it to variety of locations. Some ply, some pine, some steel rod and a battery operated light later - Job done |

Did the $6 op-shop Back Pack you just bought come with no way to carry pre-rigged fishing rods that doesnt take up too much room.
Same I just sewed some buckles on and now everything's sweet |

set up a stall @ market on Southbank YD, gloss topcoat & black frame....
They are actually quite good, you will have a porsche bicycle in no time. EDIT: i would like to see a bit more of the natural ply colours in the frame where you have infilled black, thin black line around the blue, ply then thin matt black picture frame...

Speaking of the Bike - its already cost me $400 this week and when they were adjusting my new gears they noticed I had cracked the back rim - so theres another couple of 100. But the problem with being such a multi talented artist across soo many different mediums is - its hard to stay enthused about one particular thing for too long. And as soon as you add the ugly business of cold hard cash to the equation, I find my enthusiam drops away almost instantly. I'm just in it for the love. |

My first jigheads
I first got into using soft plastics after I saw this Starlo article in Modern Fishing, April 2001. The only placcy tails I could get then were Mr Twister singles & doubles.
ModernFishing2001_jigs.jpg Just found the old article during a cleanout. I donated many, many DIY jigs to the snags back then.... I may even still have a couple hiding in the shed.

Does the collapsible esky you use to carry stuff, collapse all over your gear making it hard to rummage through.
Same Just go to the $2 Shop - grab a bucket that fits - cut it to size - and bang - job done |

Did the little spring loaded plastic tab that holds your battery in, just snap off making uploading files from your camera impossible without holding the battery in place.

Well I wore a big Jacket for the first time since owning these rods. And that same old problem came back.
I like short butts and I can not lie. |
