Reel maintenance info

Hi guys
I thought id start a new thread concerning fishing reel maintenance, upgrade and repair
I'm sitting at work and I'm bored out of my brain lol
I haven't been servicing reels for very long, but I'be done a fair few now.
What I was thinking for this thread is maybe to provide a helping hand through t the use of pics and knowledge so that people can save money and not risk losing valuable time and gear sending in kit to companies for basic maintenance etc.
I might even put up some step by step guides or what not, much like some u.s websites do for big reels, but concentrate on gear we are more likely to use here.
Any thoughts?
Anyone out there who maintains reels for a living/serious hobby?
