Great rod for the price, I used to have the 2-4kg and loved it for working hardbodies.

Another one to look at is the Pflueger Patriarch, I have the 1-3kg and have fallen in love, perfect for plastics. Have another two on the way.

I have one and love it! Both it and the patriarch as YFM said are two very nice choices.

Cheers.

I have the 1-3 and love it mate, I love it for blades and recently it has got much more use than a few much more expensive rods in my boat.
Although I use it as a blade rod it is very versatile, I have used it for H/B's and plackies and it has been great.
For the price it has to be one of the best rods on the market.

PS take ur time and one will pop up second hand on here, I got one for $100

Don't have one. DID want one. Went and looked at one. Didn't like it. Probably will never have one.

There were just a few niggles actually. Nothing major. The aluminium rings at the edges of the grips didn't have the flash from casting removed. also there were a few 'catchy' bits of resin around the guides. like I said, nothing crucial, but just a little sloppy. Nice and light tho. Probably a very good rod.
