Squidgy finesse jighead discontinued?

I noticed that the squidgy finesse jighead is not in the 2013 catalogue, are they being discontinued? And a lot of stores don't stock them anymore or are on sale.

I noticed that they werent in the new catalogue, must be discontinued. There were some new jigheads in the though. They have added some hidden weight jigheads to the lineup. The also had some "weapon jig heads". The extra eyelet will be handy plus they seem to have a good spread of weight/hook sizes. The finesse jig heads had some good weight sizes but the hooks were a little big in my opinion. Seemed a bit weird a finesse jighead had such a thick hook.

I stopped using these jigheads because of the hooks. Heavy wire on finesse jigs sorta defeats the purpose.
I use Nitro or TT and they both have been good.

I agree, they had a thick hook.
I liked them in certain situations because they had a short shank.

If they would make the resin head with a decent fine wire hook I would buy millions. I sent a email to them from the squidgy site about it but never got a reply.
My idea was maybe the could release " pro range " resin head jigheads with fine wire hooks like the ball heads, but I never got a reply.

The name finesse was not really appropriate for these jig head but they were always my choice when throwinf flick baits for rat kings and salmon. Glad I still have a few left, guess I will have to look for a replacement now.

I'll be devestated if I can't get them anymore.

That thick hook is the goods with a locked drag.

I dont understand the logic. Their website still shows them, but places like Big W are already running out of them last time i checked. Who knows they may bring em back. What is the alternative to get the flickbaits darting around ? Weapon Head ?

What would be a reason apart form having a million from the factory in Asia already made to have a thick wire on the Resin Head ? Is it to add a lil weight ?
