We used to have a herd of them at work - they tried to get a petition to get my goldfish tank taken out of the office

Modern day mass hysteria / mental health brigade... Just blows me away the level of and enthusiasm they go to disrupt people in their daily lives / choice in food for god sake...

Right I understand some chose to live the vegan life for health reasons whatever - but to live it to a martyr style militancy is beyond my level of comprehension and tolerance.

I'm lucky I work with 3 gun mad, Australia loving normal mindset guys.

Yeah I remember talking to the head of the Herd.

Everything she came into contact with, had to be researched, to see if the manufacturer behaved in an ethical manner. Everything.

When I said "it must be exhausting being you" she said "It is"

So I took some comfort in that

This article hasn't fully convinced me. Not a vegan, or vegetarian but hmmm...

Whether or not the entire read was posted below that link (no access as I'm not subscribed), but I do feel it misses a lot of the negative aspects of mass meat production. In contrast, it does highlight almost all the negative parts of crop/plant production.

I do like the perspective which is that vegans never truly eat vegan food because animals die etc etc... Although, eating animal products is different to animals dying. The article uses vegan as an umbrella term to say that veganism is as much for ethics as it is for environmental impact or whatever else - which is inaccurate. That's dependent on the person and why they chose to be vegan.

There's a fair bit missing and I hope there is more to this article, or else this journo's arguments aren't that amazing.

Yeah that was the whole article - but to be fair to the author - After reading the first paragraph - I got what I was expecting.

I should state that this article is only for "that annoying Vegan in your life" not the cool ones who are chill about you catch and release fishing and eating animals

Haha, or for the smart vegans who are logical about the way they consume.
