Trevally ID - expert help needed!
Hey guys,
Just been up to North QLD for a family holiday and managed to fit in a little but of fishing. I caught a few trevally and have not been able to work out what species they are, so hoping someone can help. The ones in the pics below were about 40-45cm and I think they are 2 different species - maybe juvenille GTs, bludger trevally, gold spotted...??? I think the top one is a tea leaf, though I'm not 100% sure. The bottom one is a gold spot.

Thanks guys for the ID help.
Cheers mate - this was on Fitzroy Island. Spent more time snorkelling than fishing....I got a few other small fish - some rock cod, a small Stripey Snapper and the bizzare looking Flutemouth. Highlight was this fella - 73cm Lesser Queenfish. IMG_2403.JPG |
